14 May The Future of the Internet (and how to stop it)

Jon Zittrain has been on my radar for sometime now, as he’s in that circle of hopelessly dedicated Ivy Law Professors fighting for digital rights and free culture. And now his new book, and a great interview last night on Charlie Rose, have really got me thinking about our future in the digital age.
Although, while everyone who knows me knows I’m a huge Apple/Mac proponent and super user, I’ve been a bit skeptical of a few decisions on their part. However, they always seem to redeem themselves (iTunes Plus anyone). Well, Zittrain’s on the same page talking about some REAL possibilities of what we are looking towards. He also accurately, albeit biasly, points out some very interesting questions (and answers) about hacking, fighting virus’ via networking, and the future of social networking and opensource.
He also said that Lessig was one of the smartest people alive. I agree. I’ll shut up now.
